Cult Ring “IL MAGNIFICO”

CULT by CADEAUX JEWELRY
With its CULT series, CADEAUX JEWELRY launches into different territory where jewelry is more than a subtle mark of personal accomplishment, style or rank. CULT is precious jewelry without fear; daring, witty and outrageous, for lovers and sinners – unmistakable, provocative and flamboyant in character.

Ring “IL MAGNIFICO”
The Skull: symbol of death or of life? Umberto Eco says that humans are the only beings that are aware of their own death and that in humor lies our best hope for overcoming the grim thought of our own mortality. What better symbol then than the skull to remind us of our transience and to stop us from taking ourselves too seriously?
"Il Magnifico" (1449-1492) was an able political ruler from the Medici family. He served as patron to Leonardo da Vinci and successfully groomed his children as worldly, political and spiritual successors. His son became Pope Leo X. But Il Magnifico led his banking business to ruins and his later plans fell apart because of his heirs’ inability – a reminder that glory is transient.
The ring "Il Magnifico" by CADEAUX JEWELRY is made in 18 Karat gold and features a skull carved of black jade, turquoise or calcedony with a skullcap that opens to reveal a secret compartment. The cap is adorned with a diamond-set Ginkgo leaf and resembles a ceremonial papal head covering that symbolizes moral power and spiritual authority.

Precious Metal: 18 Karat White Gold and Yellow Gold
Gemstones: The CADEAUX JEWELRY ring “Il Magnifico” typically has over 25 brilliant cut diamonds and the black jade, turquoise or calcedony have a weight of over 40 carats.
Edition: Limited to 36 pieces.
